You may be wondering where I get my fire from. Here is a little backstory of what has helped shape who I am today. The environment I grew up in played a big role in my maturing at a young age. I was exposed to numerous events that robbed me of my childhood innocence and created mental barriers, blocking my success. These unforgettable experiences impacted me in inexpressible ways. Even though these struggles were difficult to face, I was able to identify and work on my strengths and weaknesses. I had to change my life and work on myself in order to overcome those mental barriers, which led to a new path of success and finding my passion.
This leads me to one of my main purposes and messages to you all. Anything is possible if you want to work towards making it happen. It takes time to replace old habits that you have become accustomed to, but in the long run, it will be harder to forget all the possibilities you had to make a difference. Don’t let time pass by only to realize that you could have taken control of your life and done so much more for yourself. Strive to be greater in all things because you want to, not because you’re forced to.
Believing in yourself is truly the most important component to success, both in fitness and in real life. If you believe in your capabilities, work on your weaknesses, and use your strengths, you will succeed. REMEMBER: Truly, the only thing stopping you is yourself.
